TED  formerly COFFEE

 

Enclosed are pictures of Ted (formerly Coffee) and Ted and Puddy our other 'kid'.  As you can see, they are best buddies.         Ted has become much more sociable and follows me around the house from room to room (when he isn't sleeping or chasing Puddy around).  He still prefers to stay a few feet away and isn't always ready for a pat, a rub or a scratch, but we want him to decide when he wants attention and he does come over and indicate when he wants it.  There are two spots in the house where he's always OK with approaching him and giving him some loving--one is in our bed where he joins us about 4:00 A.M. each morning and the other is a fleece-lined cat bed that he loves, although he doesn't sleep there.       He gets in the bed and puts his face deep into the fleece and begins to purr and knead just like he did as a kitten with his mother.  We call the bed momma.  He loves it!  Ask him if he wants to visit momma and he goes right in for some loving while he kneads and purrs.       All in all, I would say he is a good fit for our family and is working out just fine.  I'm glad we were able to adopt him and look forward to many long years of friendship and love.  Thank you so much.   Warm regards,   Bob & Nancy
